Root Jaap

Jaap counter — keep count without breaking the flow

Root Jaap counts your repetitions the way a mala does — quietly, so your attention stays on the mantra and not on the number.

No account, no sign-up, nothing to fill in. Your counting stays on this device, and Root Jaap never asks for anything about you.

Counting works the same either way. Adding Root Jaap to your home screen also stops the browser clearing it after a week unused.

A vow taken once and carried over months. Counts from the day you set it. Leave blank if you would rather not.

There are no accounts. Your practice lives in this browser — save a copy below, and add Root Jaap to your home screen so it is not cleared.

The backup keeps everything, including your mantra and sankalp. The spreadsheet opens in Excel, Numbers or Sheets and holds the counts.

Either kind. Days already counted here are never lowered.
